Marion Engineering & Technology, Inc. (MET) was founded in April, 2000 in the State of Indiana as an "S" corporation. Prior to April 2000 the business was operated for over forty years as Marion Engineering Products, a Division of Greene Line Manufacturing Corporation also located in Marion, Indiana.
The Company is Headquartered in Marion, Indiana and currently has twenty-nine employees. The business operates primarily as a general machine, fabrication and electrical shop specializing in the manufacture of machinery and machine components. The business also provides engineering services, emergency repair work, electrical and general maintenance support to other manufacturing operations in the area.
One of MET's specialties is designing and building special, one of a kind, machines for customers that automate their processes and reduce their costs. The company also has a product line of machines, machine repair and replacement parts. In addition MET designs, manufactures, and repairs hydraulic cylinders, does electrical wiring and programming, special cables assemblies for field installation and rebuilds used equipment and machinery.
Our market niche consists mainly in the corrugated cardboard, paper, and glass industries as well as other high maintenance industries such as foundries and mills.
